Fallout Who Vegas Wiki

Unto, the Past is a quest added by Fallout Who Vegas. It is the culmination of all previous quests in the mod and so can only be started when they have been completed. It involves the player restoring Gallifrey and the Time Lords to the universe, and in doing so giving their past self access to The TARDIS.

Overview[]

After completing all previous quests, the player will be informed of a strange power drain coming from the TARDIS Art Gallery. Once there they will be contacted by the Time Lords and told to find the six scattered pieces of the With Love, From Gallifrey painting so that the Time Lords can be restored to the universe. When the player has collected the pieces, they must fight their way through the Death Zone on Gallifrey to make the trip to the past which started their journey.

Walkthrough[]

  1. There Seems to be a Power Drain Coming from the TARDIS Art Gallery... Investigate the Source of the Drain...: The player must go to the TARDIS Art Gallery. Once there, they will notice a Time Fissure in the frame of the torn-out painting. Speaking to the fissure will reveal that the Time Lords are trapped in a pocket dimension and need the player to reassemble the painting to bring them back.
  2. The Gateway Has Been Split into Six Fragments and Scattered Across the Universe; You Will Need to Travel to Six Locations and Locate Each Fragment: At this point, the TARDIS guide hologram will appear and inform you that you are now able to travel in galactic drift mode, and will offer a tutorial. See Flying The Tardis for more help on using drift mode.
    • Travel to Spiridon in the Acteon Galaxy: Spiridon is located at the coordinates (X:1,Y:8) in the Acteon Galaxy. Upon arrival there the player will be attacked by the local plant life. After exploring for a bit, the player will find a dead Thal Researcher. Reading his notes reveals that a Dalek had attempted to take the fragment from Spiridon but had contracted Light Wave Sickness rendering it invisible. The player must then defeat the invisible Dalek, and the Dalek reinforcements sent for it, to claim the fragment. When they return to the TARDIS, the player will notice a thick layer of sap blocking the door. In order to dissolve the sap the player must find 5 plant alkili on the bodies of the local Spiridonian Triffids.
    • Travel to Sol-3 in the Mutters Spiral: Sol-3 is Earth, and can be found at the coordinates (X:2,Y:2) in the Mutters Spiral. To find the fragment from Earth, the player must put the TARDIS in orbit around Earth, then sleep in the bed in the TARDIS Master Bedroom. When they wake up they will receive a note advertising the Galactic Hypermarket. If the player then travels to Freeside at night, and walks down the alley next to the Silver Rush, the Hyper Trader will appear and offer his services. The player can then buy the Sol-3 fragment directly from the Hyper Trader.
    • Travel to Karn in the Constellation of Kasterborous: Karn is located at the coordinates (X:2,Y:2) in the Constellation of Kasterborous. Upon arriving at Karn, the player must enter the cave immediately to the right of where the TARDIS lands. The player can then travel through the temple and speak to High Priestess Ohila, who agree to give the player the fragment if they can defeat the Beast of Karn. The player can then exit the temple and proceed into the space ship scrapyard across from the cave entrance. Once there, the player must fight and kill the beast. When the beast is dead, return to High Priestess Ohila to claim the shard.
    • Travel to Zeta in the Isop Galaxy: Zeta Minor is located at the coordinates (X:7,Y:6) in the Isop Galaxy. The planet is full of hostile Zetan aliens. The player must make their way up the hill to the left of where the TARDIS lands to the research station on top. When trying to access the station, the player will be told that the door is locked due to an ongoing test. That test will then fail and a spitter plant called Gorlax across the map will grow to a massive size due to a containment system failure. Gorlax is defeated by destroying the four coral fungus clusters around his pond. These clusters do not have visible health bars however will be destroyed when they take enough damage. After Gorlax is defeated, the player can take the shard from the research station.

It is full of Cybermen who will be hostile to the player. Upon exploring the station, the player will find that one quadrant is locked due to deviant programming. The player must then move one to of the cockpits on the sides of the ship to deactivate this lock. Once the quadrant is unlocked, the player must search the Cyber-Conversion Machines until they find one in use. Disabling the machine will reveal Kroton, a potential companion, trapped inside. Kroton will unlock a nearby chest containing the fragment and offer to travel with the player.
    • Travel to the Megallanic Clouds: The fragment in the Megallanic Clouds is held by a Dalek fleet travelling through them. Rather than landing in any particular location, the fragment is obtained by defeating the fleet in a space battle. The player must travel through the clouds with the TARDIS HADS system deactivated and blue stabilizers off until they encounter the fleet and defeat them.
  3. Reassemble the "With Love, From Gallifrey" Painting in the TARDIS Art Gallery: Once the player has obtained all six fragments, using them on the empty painting frame will restore it an open a link to the Death Zone on Gallifrey.
  4. Enter the Gateway to the Tomb Dimension: The player should be prepared for a fight, as once they enter the painting there is no way back to the TARDIS until their business on Gallifrey is ended. Interacting with the newly-restored painting will take the player to the Death Zone.
  5. Reach the Dark Tower at the Center of the Death Zone on Gallifrey: The Death Zone is a huge area, filled with enemies such as Daleks and Cybermen of all varieties. The Tomb of Rassilon tower can be reached by travelling all the way around the Death Zone until the player reaches the entrance. Once inside the tower, the player will be met by a Time Lord, who congratulates them on getting this far and surviving the Death Zone. The Time Lord will inform the player that they have created a link to the rest of the universe that the Time Lords can use to restore Gallifrey, and instructs the player to travel to the past to bring themselves to the TARDIS in the first place.
  6. With the Space Suit and Control Disk, Take the TARDIS Back into Your Past to Set Up Events Beyond Your Control... Wearing the space suit, enter the past version of the TARDIS. The Time Lords will fly it to the precise location where the player was originally greeted by their future self, and then return the player to the Tomb of Rassilon. From there the player is free to take their own TARDIS to leave.
