Fallout Who Vegas Wiki

When you first enter the tardis you will start with the Piloting skill at level 1. Until you reach Piloting level 5 you will only be able to travel to random destinations, however by traveling you can increase your pilot skill.

To earn Piloting XP, you must fly the TARDIS with the HADS system and autopilot off. The HADS system can be controlled using the TARDIS console scanner, and autopilot can be toggled by activating the blue stabilisers when the TARDIS is in flight.

If the TARDIS is in Advanced Mode travel works the same way, with the additional possibhility of events happening if components become damaged.

Drift Flight Mode[]

Drift Flight is introduced in the quest Unto, the Past, and allows the player to travel through galactic systems to find new planets. The player must first travel to a galaxy, and then navigate to a particular coordinate within that galaxy to discover a planet. The galaxies are laid out as a 10x10 coordinate grid ranging from (X:1,Y:1) to (X:10,Y:10). When the player initially enters the galaxy they will be placed at a random coordinate. If left alone the TARDIS will slowly drift randomly to nearby coordinates, however the player can use the TARDIS Astronav Computer to pick specific coordinates to travel to.

  1. Use Programmed Flight Mode to travel to any galaxy.
  2. Use the TARDIS Astronav Computer to select your desired coordinates.
  3. Press "Travel to Coordinates" and the TARDIS will take flight.
  4. Use the Space Time Throttle to adjust travel speed.

The player will hear a drumbeat every time the TARDIS enters a new coordinate. Drift mode flight can be cancelled using the Time Rotor Handbrake or running the Seige Mode Protocol.

Trivia[]

  • There is sometimes a bug which results in infinite drift flight without ever reaching a destination. The only fix is to stop flight and start again, or reload a previous save.
