The Defabricator Cannon is an energy weapon added by Fallout: Who Vegas. It has two modes - defabricate and overload. When initially crafted, only the defabricate mode is available, however it can be upgraded using the TARDIS upgrade station with the correct temporal engineering level, similar to the Sonic Screwdriver, which unlocks the overload mode.
When used, defabrication mode will remove clothes and clothing items from its targets. In overload mode, the defabricator cannon becomes a powerful weapon. An overloaded defabricator cannon is particularly effective against Daleks and can destroy one within seconds.
How to Obtain[]
The defabricator cannon is crafted at the TARDIS Workshop if the player has found and uploaded its schematic. The schematic can be found in the secret supply cache within the TARDIS corridors.
Trivia[]
- The defabricator cannon was introduced in the 2005 episode Bad Wolf where it was initially used to remove Captain Jack Harkness' clothing as part of the show What Not to Wear. After destroying the robots Trin-E and Zu-zana, Jack was able to modify the defabricator cannon to be an effective weapon. The defabricator cannon was used several times in future episodes of Doctor Who.
